Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is famous for her character Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" and has earned some fame. Calvano is a native of California had a first interest in gymnastics competitions. Then, she chose to be an actress. Her debut on screen was an episode from 2010 on CBS's 'NCIS'. One year later, her first big-screen appearance made it into the biographical crime film J Edgar. She quickly became one of the top young actors to be seen in the following years. For her performance in 'NCIS', she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance on a Television Series with a Guest Actor Actress 11-15 years old in the year 2011. In 2013 she was nominated to win an additional Young Artist Award for her appearance as a guest on Disney XD's comedy show 'Kickin' it'. Calvano was a key character in "Mom", the series the first three seasons of, as well as making appearances on several episodes of Season 4. The role she played in "Mom" earned her the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in the year 2015.
